About me
I am Markéta, an illustrator from Czechia that lives in Italy. I've always liked to draw and come up with ideas.
I studied illustration at Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen and in the meantime I spent a semester at the University of the West of England in Bristol. There, I explored screen printing thoroughly, got to know the local street art and learned about the interesting field of reportage illustration.
After that, I went to Italy, to study for two years at Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche di Urbino where I did animation for the first time. Here, I learned how to prepair an illustration for print and for digital use, and I developed the style in which I work today.
I speak three languages: Czech, Italian and English.
